Lanzhou is the capital of Gansu Province. For tourism, it usually serves as the transportation hub between the external and internal cities of the province. Normally we suggest our clients stay one night and have a day tour in the city to visit Gansu Provincial Museum and Bingling Temple, in the evening, especially if you are a street food lover, Lanzhou’s night market is the best place to try all the local foodies, afterward, you can take a walk to Zhongshan Bridge to enjoy the beautiful night view of Baitan Mountain Park and Yellow River.
For luxury travelers, Lanzhou is the only city in Gansu Province that has international-brand hotels. But, not luxury ones, Hyatt Regency Lanzhou and Crowne Plaza Lanzhou are the best options. The local brand Wanda Vista Hotel is also an excellent option.
