Yunfengtun

Yunfengtun Stone Village is a typical Tunpu (or Tunbao) village near Anshun. The Tunpu villagers are descended from ethnic Han Chinese who were part of an army sent on an expedition to Guizhou during the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty. The village is one of the well-preserved village fortresses of the Ming Dynasty. Compared with others, especially the very commercial Tianlong Tunpu, Yunfengtun is much more authentic.
