M50 Art District
M50 Art District is Shanghai’s most famous “gallery district,” home to over 100 gallery spaces in Shanghai. A great place for a half day’s stroll, M50 also offers retail shops for souvenirs and cafes for visitors.
Meiling Palace
Meiling Palace, former residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling, who had been on Time Magazine 3 times, was one of the most famous women of the first half of the 20th century. Together with the Presidential Palace in Nanjing, are the best places to learn the history of the Nationalist Era in China, 1927–1949.

Yongle Palace
Yongle Palace is world-famous for its incredibly beautiful murals. Together with the murals of Fahai Temple and Mogao Grottoes, it is one of the three most famous religious murals in China. The main image, “Chaoyuan Tu,” is composed of 286 figures, with a total area of 960 square meters.
Helan Mountain Rock Paintings
Helan Mountain Rock Paintings is a general term for a series of rock paintings distributed in Helan Mountain in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China. Due to technical reasons, the earliest appearance of these petroglyphs has not yet been determined.
