Overview – Laojun Mountain
Mount Laojun or Laojun Mountain (also called Jingshi Mountain) is a mountain in Henan Province, China. Along with the Jiguan Cave, the mountain forms part of a tourist scenic area that is rated as AAAAA, the highest category in the tourist rating system. Historically, the mountain was a retreat for Laozi, the founder of Taoism.
It has more than two thousand years of humanistic history and is the mountain with the longest history in Taoism.

Attractions
There are 6 scenic spots in Laojun Mountain, with 179 scenic spots, such as Taiqing Palace, Shifangyuan, Lingguan Hall, Lin Vinegar Hall, Shepherd Ring, Salvation Hall, Chuanjing Building, Guanyin Hall, Sanqing Hall, Laojun Temple, and other temples 16 Place. On the south side of Mazongling, there are more than 3,000 acres of stone forest landscape open to visitors, and it is called “Northern Stone Forest” by geologists.
Laojun Mountain Jinding Taoist building complex is located on the peak of the mountain, mainly including Laojun Temple, Daode Mansion, Five Mother Golden Temple, Liangbaotai, Yuhuangding, Bell and Drum Tower, Nantian Gate, Chaoyang Cave, Dadaoyuan, Shinto Bridge, Corridor, etc. All adopt the Ming and Qing imperial palace-style architectural forms, especially the three golden domes of the Golden Palace, Liangbaotai, and Yuhuangding, which have become the highlights of the Laojun Mountain Taoist Temple group.
